Project 008

Layers, Materials, and New Found Meanings

18 July 2024, Santa Rosa House

Arturo T. Sanchez, Jr. is a contemporary Filipino artist who lives and work in Angono Rizal. After earning his degree in Architecture, Sanchez shifted his focus entirely to his passion for art.

Sanchez’s artistic oeuvre is diverse, encompassing paintings, mirror-integrated mixed media pieces, acrylic collages in resin, sculptures and installations. His works are known for their innovative integration of different materials, creating a unique visual language that explores themes of identity, memory, and perception.

We are excited to collaborate with Art as a curator in an upcoming show that will be launched this Thursday, July 18, 2024, 5pm at Faculty Projects.
